Project Description
Diffusion MRI (DMRI) is a recent and exciting in-vivo and non-invasive imaging technique. It provides important information to better understand the structural connectivity of the brain, explore the micro-structure of biological tissues (like the white matter) and help improve the diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders. Our main objectives within this collaborative research are to develop rigorous mathematical and computational tools for the analysis of DMRI data, and to improve acquisition and tractography techniques.
